​8 week courses

We run all of our courses on a not-for-profit basis so they are priced as low as possible. Please bear in mind that you need to commit to come to every session.  It is important. Feedback from previous courses is that missing a week can be disruptive as each session builds on the previous one.  If you have any queries about this please contact me via the Contact page.

I also run courses for private groups.  Please contact me if you want to find out more.  All courses are non-religious unless otherwise stated.
Payment will secure your place and is non-refundable if you later change your mind. 

Our next course
We will meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm from the 15th September 2021 in Holmfirth.  Cost of the course is £45.  This includes the half day of mindfulness after the last session.  This will be jointly led with Ian Woollams who is a qualified MBSR practitioner and is a Person Centred Experiential counsellor for the NHS.  Ian finds that he uses mindfulness and mindful self-compassion in his work to great effect.

​Learning In A Group

​The mindfulness sessions are an excellent way to discover how we think the way we do and enable us to make lifestyle choices about our thoughts and emotions.  The course helps and encourages participants to develop their own meditation practice at home and in our daily activities.  However, experience tells us that people find meditating in a group with other people far more beneficial than just alone so we encourage people to form small joint practices, time permitting.  The course we run most often is designed with shorter daily meditation practices to accommodate busy lives and allowing room for personal development at each person's own pace.
